grant me indulgence , lady! well it came to me as surprise as i never came across a gal who wud ask question so deep as u have asked ,anyways, here is your answer.......computer works on algorithms and logic and whatever it has "softwares or hardwares' are there because we needed them for executing particular operations , no wonder we never needed "web cams" in our machines but then , in order to have more personal conversation and get real feel now we use web cams! and believe me by the time you would read this .....we will end up getting one more "WHY" in computers!
